First Friday on Fleming Street – Visit My Key West Art Studio (May 1, 2026)

If you’re in Key West this week, First Friday on Fleming Street is a great way to spend your evening.

On Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m., shops, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants along Fleming Street stay open late. Many offer refreshments, specials, and a relaxed, walkable experience through one of Key West’s most local neighborhoods.

I’ll be participating from my studio and gallery, and you’re invited to stop in.

Visit a Working Artist Studio in Key West.

My  space is a real, working studio—not a polished retail shop.
When you visit, you’ll see paintings in progress, finished work on the walls, and the everyday rhythm of an artist at work.

I paint colorful, contemporary paintings and wall art inspired by island life—palm trees, cottages, sky, water, and the small details that make Key West feel the way it does.

Work in progress—layers going down, colors finding their place. This is where the energy starts.

What to Expect on First Friday

What to Expect on First Friday
  • A casual, welcoming atmosphere
  • New and recent paintings on display
  • A chance to meet me (the artist) in person
  • A glimpse behind the scenes of a Key West art studio
Whether you’re a local, visiting for the week, or thinking about bringing a piece of Key West into your home, this is an easy, no-pressure way to connect.

Make It Part of Your Friday Night

First Friday on Fleming is less about crowds and more about discovery. It’s a slower, more personal side of Key West—where you can wander, pop into places, and find something unexpected.
If you’re out exploring, come by and say hello.

Fresh off the easel—wall art featuring oysters, color, and a little Key West attitude. This one’s all about loose brushwork and letting the paint do its thing.

Can’t Make First Friday?

No problem. My studio and gallery in Key West is open to visitors most days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You’re welcome to stop by anytime during those hours. It’s a relaxed, working studio, so you’ll likely catch me in the middle of painting—and I’m always happy to say hello and show you what I’m working on.
If you aren’t in Key West you can still take a look at what’s in the studio right now.
