This original mixed media painting is inspired by the shifting edge where water meets sand at Fort Zach Beach in Key West. Built with palette knife acrylic and layered texture, it captures that moment when waves roll in and pull back—never still, always changing.

The sand, shells, and sea glass embedded into the surface were gathered by hand at Fort Zach. They’re not just painted—they’re part of the painting. Up close, you see the texture and detail.
